Redesigning the blog was the first marketing related project that I was responsible for in Small Improvements, shortly after joining.
Playing with the limitations of a pre-existing Wordpress platform, and starting from an idea drafted by one of the developers, my goal was to elevate the professionalism of the company’s blog and improve the reading experience without contradicting other instances of the brand at that point. I was responsible for designing responsive layouts for the Blog homepage and article page, as well as coordinating implementation with a freelance remote developer.

From refreshing the homepage to a revamp of all top-level pages with a focus on customer acquisition, the progressive redesign of the marketing website has been the project that most successfully established me as one of the key stakeholders in all customer-facing marketing materials.
While always having most of my time dedicated to working on the product, for the most part of my time in Small Improvements I have been the sole UI designer, collaborating with the marketing team, a freelance developer, and one illustrator. Since mid-2019 I have also managed and collaborated with a freelance designer in the redesign of some of the newest pages.
